we will learn how to edit website contents befor launching
This document explains the steps shown in the video to help you manage your website content (edit pages, add news/events, and manage products/posts).
Open your browser and go to:
Enter your username and password.
Youโll be redirected to the WordPress dashboard.
From the left menu, click Pages > All Pages
Find the page you want to edit (e.g., Home, About Us, Contact, etc.)
Click Edit with WPBakery (or Elementor, if Porto is using it)
Once the editor loads:
Hover over the section you want to change.
Click the pen icon (โ๏ธ) to edit the content.
Change the text, images, or buttons as needed.
Click Save Changes
After editing, click Update (top right) to publish the changes.
In the left menu, click Posts > Add New
Enter your post title and content.
On the right sidebar:
Select a Category (e.g., News, Events)
Upload a Featured Image (this shows in blog previews)
Click Publish to make it live.
๐ To manage existing posts:
Go to Posts > All Posts
Click on a post title to edit, or hover and click Trash to delete.
Go to Products > Add New
Enter the book title in the Product Name field.
Add the book description in the large editor box.
Set the price in the "Product Data" section:
Regular Price
Sale Price (optional)
On the right:
Add Product Image (book cover)
Add Product Categories (e.g., Fiction, Children, etc.)
Click Publish
โ๏ธ To edit a product:
Go to Products > All Products
Hover over the product name > Click Edit
Go to Appearance > Menus
Choose the menu to edit (usually Main Menu)
To add a page:
Check the page on the left > click Add to Menu
Drag and drop menu items to reorder
Click Save Menu
Go to Pages > Home > Click Edit with WPBakery
Scroll to the banner section
Click the pen icon (โ๏ธ) on the image block
Replace image > click Save
Click Update to publish
Go to WooCommerce > Orders
Click any order to view full details (products, billing, status)
Update status if needed (e.g., from Processing to Completed)
Go to Users > All Users
View all registered customers
Click on any user to view/edit profile
Click on your username in the top right corner
Choose Log Out
